The Dublin Harpers put on a show. This family offers a combination of traditional Celtic music, interwoven harmonies, and driving rhythms. The Dublin Harpers take the harp and bodhran to a whole new level. A bodhrán is a frame drum of Irish origin. (Played by the father.) There were characters who worked the faire, like these plague victim cart drivers, but many festival-goers dressed up on their own      Here's a knight resting and watching the archery tournament.  Here's a fairy     Horse & rider  There was some kind of parade through the compound |

The Sky King Birds of Prey did a raptor demonstration. Almost all of the birds were not on a leash of any kind. It was all quite fun. What impressed me the most was how polite everyone was. The people who worked the booths and the entertainers I talked to were most pleasant. To say I was impressed would be a vast understatement.
