The Dublin Harpers put on a show. This family offers a combination of traditional Celtic music, interwoven harmonies, and driving rhythms. The Dublin Harpers take the harp and bodhran to a whole new level. A bodhrán is a frame drum of Irish origin. (Played by the father.)

There were characters who worked the faire, like these plague victim cart drivers, but many festival-goers dressed up on their own

Really enjoyed our time at Sherwood Forest Faire. It is a medieval-style village nestled in the Lost Pines section of Central Texas. It is located in McDade, TX, 35 Miles East of Austin.
It was all quite fun. What impressed me the most was how polite everyone was. The people who worked the booths and the entertainers I talked to were most pleasant. To say I was impressed would be a vast understatement.
